Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance? What are the rates of your services?

I am currently able to accept some insurance PPO plans (check here to verify coverage for Anthem, BCBS, Aetna and Cigna and reach out directly if you have United Healthcare PPO) as well as all Tricare plans (no referral needed). Prices for self-pay services vary and can be found under the service menu page.

**If you have Medicaid, please contact me for Medicaid pricing options.

Are you licensed and insured?

I am a current International Board-certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and have been insured under CM&F Insurance since 2016 as well as through State Farm. Any interns or mentees accompanying me for visits are also insured.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

CANCELLATION POLICY: In an effort to serve as many parents as possible, cancellations need to be made as soon as you are aware of any issues. Although we try to be as flexible as possible, any appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time, as well as any no shows, will be charged a $50 appointment fee with the card on file. By booking an appointment, you express agreement with this policy.  If you have provided at least a 24-hour notice, a full refund will be issued for self-pay clients. If you are covered under insurance and have given at least a 24 hour advanced notice, no further action is needed and no fees will be due.

Note: While I understand the early days of baby’s arrival bring many challenges and life sometimes presents us with unforeseen circumstances, I will do my best to accommodate parents in a manner that still respects the preparation and planning that go into every appointment.
